We are part of the Property Standardisation Group – Which is an initiative by Scottish Law firms to abide and agree on the important documents that are regulated in agreements between ourselves. We will also promote the use of these to non members as well.
This is particularly useful in the administration of construction law where a construction company has promised standards and plans or proposed buildings not yet delivered.
Scottish law has a completely different property buying conveyancing rules and must be distinguished between English regulations. These laws actually protect property and construction sellers when dealing with potential buyers. It allows confidence in the process and suits builders who need guaranteed sales before a build has been completed.
